About us
Small joys, big purrs.
The Purr Pixel is a small online shop for cat people, and for dog people too. We pick toys, beds and everyday accessories that make pets happy and still look good in the homes they share with us.
We believe the little things matter. A toy your cat actually chases. A bed that becomes the favorite nap spot. A bowl you don't feel the need to hide when friends come over. Those small joys add up, and that's what we're here for.
Our story
The Purr Pixel is run by JESSICA EILEEN DESIGNS LLC, a small design business based in Sanford, Florida, since 2023. We started out making custom, made-to-order design products for our customers.
Along the way, more and more of the requests we got were about pets: something for the cat, something for the dog, something that fit both the pet and the home. So we followed that demand and built a shop just for pet products. The Purr Pixel is the result: the same eye for design, now focused on the animals who run our households.
Our mission
To make everyday life with pets a little happier, one well-chosen product at a time.
Shopping for pets online can feel like guesswork. Listings are vague, photos don't match, and a lot of pet gear looks like it was made to be hidden in a closet. Our job is to do the picking for you: choose products with a clear purpose, describe them honestly, and give you the details you need to decide with confidence.
Our vision
We want The Purr Pixel to be the place cat and dog owners come back to when they want something that works for their pet and fits their home. We want to grow a collection where every item has a reason to be there, and a shop people trust because it tells them the truth about what they're buying.
What we value
- Pets first. We start with what animals love to do: cats chase, hide, scratch, climb and nap; dogs chew, fetch and snuggle. A product earns a place in our shop only if it fits those habits.
- Design that lives well. Our roots are in design, so looks matter to us. But a pretty product that's hard to clean or falls apart doesn't make the cut.
- Honesty over hype. No miracle claims and no fake countdowns. We list sizes, materials and care notes, and we tell you when something isn't the right fit.
- Small-shop care. We're a small business, and you'll talk to real people when you write to us.
What we look for in every product
- A clear job: playtime, rest, feeding, grooming or getting around.
- Materials and sizes we can describe clearly on the product page.
- Easy to clean and easy to live with in an apartment or a busy home.
- A look that suits a modern home: calm colors, clean shapes, a little fun.
- Something that makes a pet, and their person, smile.
Who we're for
We're for the cat parent with one curious kitten or two seasoned loafers. For the household where the cat rules and the dog keeps the peace. For apartment dwellers who want pet gear that doesn't take over the living room. And for anyone who loves taking photos of their pet doing something silly.
